A reminder to find a form of exercise that feels like playtime 🚲🏝 This week, my sister and I rented bikes in Santa Monica and biked along the shoreline. I forgot how fun it is to ride a bike! The mix of sunshine, fresh air and movement made us feel like kids and it helped me tap into that sweet “nowhere to be” summertime feeling.
Floating in the sea, doing handstands in the pool, rollerblading at a park and playing board games on a rainy afternoon….all things that give me that feeling and all high on my list after this great day in Santa Monica.
What were your favorite activities as kid? Try to find an hour or two to do them this week. Making time to play is good for the soul ✨
