Today is my seven year vegan anniversary! As I’ve mentioned in my YouTube videos like this one, veganism started as a healthy diet and became about so much more. In addition to making me a more conscious, responsible consumer, I’ve also learned a big lesson: that my daily choices matter.
Even the ones that seem small, like choosing a vegan meal or opting for a cruelty free shampoo. These little choices add up and work to create big, meaningful change in the world. According to Plant Based News, the average vegan saves 105 animal lives a year!
Going vegan has taught me that I really can make a difference and that’s changed so much more than just what’s on my plate. I’m taking today to reflect on how learning to eat and shop with compassion has helped me a grow. I hope you’ll celebrate with me today so this is officially your sign to do something extra fun, treat yourself and celebrate the progress you’ve made too!
